About Our Laptops
Most of our laptops are second-hand, generally having been used in a business environment. We work hard to make sure we only sell A-Grade units, however, a buyer must realize they are not brand new and may, therefore, have minor scuffs, etc. Nothing we sell will have any broken plastics, or even major scratches or nicks. We work hard to make sure our laptops have been tested and re-tested and have an extremely low problem rate.
We seldom get manuals or CDs with our laptops when leasing companies send them to us. If CDs are required, they can be purchased from us for a nominal fee. We do include all software licenses, so if customer requires a software reload, any of our laptops may be sent back to us at any time for a free reinstall of the software. If manuals are required, you can go to the web site of the manufacturer of your laptop (ie: www.dell.com, www.ibm.com, etc.) and download the manuals for your unit in their entirety.
All of our laptops come with a 30-day warranty. This warranty means that we will repair or replace (at our discretion) any hardware that becomes defective within the 30 day period, excluding the battery. We don't test batteries because it's the one thing that is considered a "depletable commodity" on a used laptop (you can count on them wearing out). We can't even guarantee your laptop battery will hold a charge at all. But, as a general rule, the higher-priced laptops will have batteries that hold a good charge and the lower-priced ones won't.
If a customer changes his or her mind about purchasing the laptop(s), a return can be made within 7 days. Shipping will not be refunded, and a 15% restocking fee will be charged.
